Kenneth R. Rice is a retired military officer with over 20 years of dedicated service in the U.S. Army and Texas Army National Guard. A seasoned leader in organizational transformation, program and project management, and human capital development. Kenneth’s career reflects a steadfast commitment to excellence, adaptability, and community service.
Kenneth began his military career in 1993, enlisting as a Military Police Officer and achieving the rank of Sergeant (E-5). While attending Central Michigan University, he transitioned from active duty to the National Guard and joined the university’s ROTC program, earning his commission as a Second Lieutenant. Throughout his military service, Kenneth held key leadership roles, including Battalion Officer in Charge and Operations Officer, overseeing the training, development, and readiness of large-scale organizations. His leadership improved operational readiness and fostered collaboration with local law enforcement and emergency management agencies.
Kenneth’s experience spans human capital management, talent development, crisis and emergency response, and organizational leadership. His achievements include developing talent mentoring programs, implementing recruiting metrics tracking systems, and establishing leadership academies to enhance operational and personnel effectiveness.
Kenneth earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and a minor in Military Science from Central Michigan University. This academic foundation, combined with his professional military education, has driven his success in both the public and private sectors.
Kenneth transitioned his leadership skills into the private sector, where he has over a decade of experience as a licensed real estate professional and mortgage loan originator. His expertise in customer service, relationship building, and sales force development has earned him a reputation for delivering exceptional client experiences and fostering repeat business. In addition to his real estate career, Kenneth served as Operations Manager for the Texas Military Department’s recruiting battalion, where he managed over 300 recruiters and support staff, onboarded thousands of employees annually, and spearheaded marketing initiatives across Texas. His leadership facilitated transformational changes that aligned resources and personnel with organizational goals, resulting in increased efficiency and performance.
Kenneth is deeply committed to serving his community and supporting fellow Veterans. He is an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), and the Military Police Regimental Association. His dedication to giving back extends to nonprofit initiatives aimed at fostering resilience and community growth.
Kenneth has been happily married to his wife for 10 years, and together they are proud parents of two daughters. His wife, a licensed professional counselor, actively treats Veterans navigating the legal process, reflecting their shared commitment to supporting those who have served.
